19th century French Restauration period bibliotheque handcrafted of walnut in the South of France, circa 1820s. This handsome bookcase with its warm bleached patina features a stepped cornice over paneled doors with the original glass flanked by scrolling pilasters with a central reeded pilaster stile. The doors open to reveal four shelves and plenty of storage for books, games, and collectibles. Raised on bracket feet. The clean lines and elegant curves of this piece make it highly desirable for today’s modern interiors.
