This Regency overcoat is the type of practical yet luxurious coat that every woman needs in their wardrobe, and it's as soft as you'd expect a pure cashmere coat to be. (French designer Louis Feraud once said, "Elegance is the art of being extravagant while at the same time going unnoticed.") The coat buttons up the front, has padded shoulders, and vertical besom pockets. A great feature is a deep inverted pleat in the back that almost makes it a "swing" style and allows plenty of room for movement. The style of the union label in this coat (UNITE) was use from 1995 to 2005, so I'm on the fence as to whether it's technically "vintage," or at least 20 years old (it's probably from the late 90s). Labeled size 2, but that might have been size Medium for this maker, where 1 is Small, etc. We have listed it here as a size Medium, but please refer to the measurements for the best guidance regarding size.
