Botanical Knot is inspired by Liberty’s early 1900s needlework designs and the intricate style of Arts and Crafts designer May Morris. Hand-painted in gouache with pencil detailing, it features entwined florals and foliage woven through a Celtic-style knotwork trellis, echoing Morris’s embroidered motifs.

Part of the Collectibles chapter in Liberty’s 150th anniversary collection, it celebrates the brand’s rich archive and enduring connection to British craft and textile heritage.

Since opening its doors on Regent Street in 1875, Liberty has been synonymous with artistry and innovation in textile design. This anniversary collection shines a light on the makers behind the magic, exploring the designers, illustrators, and printmakers who have helped shape Liberty’s story.

Divided into three themes - Craftsmanship, Collaboration, and Collectibles. From the Studio offers a rare glimpse into the creative process, from initial sketches and hand-painted artwork to digital experimentation and final fabric prints. A true celebration of Liberty’s legacy in printmaking and storytelling.
