What if my header bolts won't come loose without damaging them?
Soak the bolt heads with penetrating oil for 15–20 minutes before you start. Heat from a heat gun or torch on the manifold (not directly on bolts) helps break corrosion free. Go slow—a snapped bolt in the head is a bad day.
