These are relaxed fit boyfriend shorts so though there is no stretch you can go with your normal size.

model is wearing size SMALL and it was a bit loose. 130lbs 5’3 28 inch waist 

Sizing will also depend on stomach. Though shorts have room in waist and butt also consider if you need more stomach room so going with the bigger size maybe needed. Model almost always wears a size small but when pieces have no stretch especially in denim she typically sizes up to medium BUT for these shorts size small was just fine.
