Storage

The pacifier should always be stored clean and dry, for example in a closed box or a pacifier case. Avoid especially placing the pacifier in direct sunlight or heat, as this can weaken the natural rubber. Also, do not sterilize the pacifier with anything other than boiled water.

Cleaning

Before the pacifier is used for the first time, it should be poured over with boiling water, after which it should be left to soak for 5 minutes. Do not boil the pacifier. After that, the pacifier should be regularly sterilized by pouring boiling water over it. Since it is a valve pacifier, liquid will penetrate the nipple head. When the pacifier has cooled down, the water should be pressed out of the nipple part to ensure hygiene.

Why is the nipple clear in material on some pacifiers and matte in material on others? Natural rubber latex is et a natural material with many good properties, such as softness, tensile strength, and great durability against bites. However, latex and also natural deviations in the material can be seen in this light. Therefore, the appearance of the nipple can vary in clarity and color.
