We are proud to present the first in a series of collaborative projects, seeking to explore the creative context of products and concepts that excite the culture we deem ourselves part of.⁠ ⁠ For our first go, we invited @ttg._._ to collaborate on developing our own take of the classic record bag.⁠ ⁠ A record bag has always been a fascinating object to us, being a dedicated means to store and carry records, it excitingly transforms a simple carrier into a committed space to compile music. Providing limited capacity, the bag challenges its user to build narrative out of an otherwise myriad of choices, converting the act of filling the bag into an engaging and creative experience.⁠ ⁠ The bag ttg.-.- created functions as a stand-alone carrier or as an addition to a record bag trolley, being able to attach itself to the trolley handle. It features two compartments, one dedicated to storing records to a max of 40/50, the other ready to store a laptop, keys, USB-s, groceries, and other various to specific belongings. ⁠ ⁠ Each bag comes with an integrated rubber token - “Bubble Boy” — created by Thijs Jaeger, an artifact to our first release, happening on the 9th of April, in collaboration with our stream for Rewire.⁠ ⁠ \\⁠ ⁠ ttg._._ :⁠ ⁠ “Filling a bag excites me. I face a dark and foggy image. Fluorescent light is scattered. I enter a new city. The road to the unknown draws me in. My bag is the skin between what is mine or yours. Keys, records, USB… This collection is a collage that can be read as a self-portrait. The act of 'unpacking' is like revealing a secret.”⁠ ⁠ \\⁠ ttg._._ (the pseudonym of Twan Lugten), together with Eddy Rakovic and Roan van Galen, made a series of five bags for 3345. The integrated rubber 'token' was designed by Thijs Jaeger. Twan Lugten is graduating from the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. With his works he is building a mysterious world, which may serve as an alternative to our stagnant current world. Thijs Jaeger is a visual artist. Thijs Jaeger's works pose as relics of a religion born of internet culture and authorless mythical lore.⁠ ⁠ The five bags are handmade from 340 grams Ten Cate cotton. 5d
