The Forge Motorsport FMTUBL14 is a turbo blanket that has been specifically designed for the Peugeot 308 GTI MK2. This turbo blanket is designed to isolate the radiant heat produced by the turbocharger. The OE heat shield still allows a considerable amount of heat transfer thus creating a warmer engine compartment, which will have an effect on the engines components and increase intake temperatures.

This design has been created to withstand the harshest of environments and proven to withstand temperatures up to 2500°F of radiant heat which will assist in protecting and prolonging the life of engine components. Design innovation keeps the heat of the exhaust gases contained within the hot side of the turbocharger, away from the cool side and the intake path which helps reduce turbo lag and air intake temperatures resulting in more power. As a bonus the FMTUBL14 improves the appearance of the 308’s engine bay considerably,
