Care Guide

Watering Needs Water

Water when the top several inches of soil are dry, about every other week. Water with fresh water lightly and slowly from above, allowing water to soak through to the roots, then tip out any excess water. Keep the leaves dry.

Light Requirements Light

The Peperomia needs medium, indirect light. They can tolerate partial shade and will even grow under fluorescent lights. Avoid direct sunlight as it can burn the leaves. Rotate the plant occasionally to encourage even growth.

Humidity Tolerance Humidity

Prefers higher levels of humidity, around 75% or above, in summer months. In other months a normal humidity level is desired.

Repotting Needs Repotting Needs

Check if the plant is ready to be repotted by touching the soil and seeing if it has become loose, or if the roots have become overgrown. Repot using a rich, well-draining soil. You can also mix in perlite, sand, or gravel in with the soil to keep it from becoming too compact over time

Toxicity Toxic

This plant is pet safe!
