Note the "INOX" marking on the blade; that's short for inoxydable, which means 'stainless' in French. This knife is made from Sandvik 12C27 stainless steel — an extremely high-quality Swedish alloy of steel, chrome, and no less than 0.40% carbon content for sharpness.
