This whip has a staghorn handle.
There is a silver button stamped "Callow, London" on the heel of the staghorn.

There is a crown shaped gatepusher stud on the top of the horn
It has a two silver collars with ribbed edges.  One is stamped "Callow", its hallmarks are too rubbed to read. The other collar is hallmarked Birmingham 1923 and engraved "W.R.B"  and dated 1924.

There are dents and dings in both collars.
Between the collars the whip is covered in dark tan leather with a finely stitched seam. The lower collar has moved half an inch down the length of the whip

The rest of the stock or shaft is covered in braided linen or hemp.

It has its original stitched leather keeper or tongue at its end.
