Packing & Use

• Pack 15–20 g of shisha evenly to just below the rim, level with the top of the centre spire.
• Avoid overpacking — a phunnel is an airflow-sensitive design.
• Seat your HMD directly on top of the bowl.
• Add lit coals and give the session 2–3 minutes to warm up before drawing.

Care

• Let the bowl cool fully before cleaning — thermal shock is the main cause of bowl damage.
• Rinse the ceramic core under warm water. No seasoning, no soap-avoidance rituals — ceramic is easy to look after.
• Wipe the silicone housing with a damp cloth.

Common Questions

Ceramic or clay — which should I choose?

Ceramic is the most neutral and predictable of the three Kore variants. Clay (Qì red or Dào black) has more character and seasons over time. If you want the bowl to disappear and let the shisha speak, ceramic. If you want the bowl to contribute to the session, clay.

Is this the same as the original Samsaris?

Yes — the All Ceramic is the original Samsaris Kore that the rest of the Kore line grew out of. The silicone housing and phunnel format are identical to the newer clay versions.
