Duplexer allows connecting two AMR or AMI devices to a single encoder output meter.

• Can be used where one meter controls water sold from one utility to another on a backup water supply, but both utilities have different AMR or AMI reading systems.
  
• Can be used where a utility provides a meter for a submeter customer and the submeter customer wants to read electronically with their own AMR, AMI or Remote display system without easy access to the actual meter such as a vault installed meter. 
• Allows a commercial tenant to read a meter electronically with a different reading system than the utility or submeter landlord.

The Universal Duplexer is used for connecting two AMI/AMR meter-reading devices in parallel to a single flow meter. Housed within a rugged wall-mountable, NEMA-4X enclosure, it can be installed outdoors or indoors. Not rated for submersion.
