This whip has a staghorn handle.

It has a silver coloured collar which is stamped "Swaine, Made in England"
There is a small dent in the collar.
The stock or shaft is covered in braided leather.
It has its original stitched keeper or tongue and a  braided leather thong with a cream cord lash.

The loop at the end of the thong has a few broken strands, a new owner may wish to bind it to prevent further damage if the whip is cracked.
