This whip has an antler or staghorn handle carved as a hound's head.

There is a whistle in the handle, this works well.
It has a silver coloured (probably nickel) collar

The short shaft or stock is made of golden brown malacca cane
The whip has a its original small open rawhide keeper at its end and an intricately braided leather thong.
