ESTIMATE for Final Drive / Rear Axle Gearbox Repair / Overhaul €99.00

Applies to rear axle gearboxes for BMW R50/5 - R100GS (all 2V Boxer models 1969-1995)

Procedure:

- Send us your complete address with contact details and email address.
- We will send you a DHL return label for free shipping of your final drive to us (EU only)
- You send your final drive to us, well-packaged.
- We will inspect your final drive and provide a ESTIMATE for the repair of your final drive.
The above-mentioned flat fee of €99.00 will be charged for this service.
- You decide whether the repair should be carried out. If not, we will return your final drive
free of charge.

If you commission a repair, the flat fee will be credited. Should the investment for the repair exceed the price

of an exchange final drive, we may be able to offer you an exchange final drive.

In that case, we will gladly take your old final drive as a trade-in.

The standard overhaul costs EUR 349 and includes the following work:

- Disassembly, cleaning, inspection, and measurement of all parts
- Reworking of individual parts as needed
- Adjustment of the ring and pinion gears
- Installation of new sealing rings and gaskets
- Reassembly of the final drive (ready for installation)
- Functional and leak testing

The price for a standard overhaul includes all gaskets/sealing rings.
Additional parts and labor will be billed separately:

- Ball bearing replacement (set) €289.00
- Housing glass bead blasting €99.00
- Oil filler/drain plug thread repair €29.90
- Gear ring replacement €249.00 (upon request)
For all other parts/labor, a separate individual quote will apply.
