This deadstock vintage, chestnut brown floral print cotton 1950s dress features tiny flowers in shades of green, pink, and white. The cute rickrack trim is black, to match the black plastic buttons that fasten the dress in front. The short-sleeved bodice is gently fitted with vertical bust darts and has a round neckline. The moderately full skirt is gathered into the waist seam, which can be cinched with the self-fabric belt. The mid-weight cotton is unlined. The fabric is still quite bright and crisp, since the dress was never worn--although we have laundered it for freshness. This classic 1950s cotton day dress is in excellent to mint condition, with no issues to note.
