Rare and early Dolce and Gabbana cropped floral blouse from the spring summer 1994 collection. It has these extraordinary trumpet sleeves that are edged in passementerie black trim with little toggles which are also echoed around the neck. The sleeves have been gathered. It has a wide scoop neckline and a front fastening button stand with six pearlescent buttons. It is made from a 100% rayon fabric with the floral print predominantly in purple, red, and green against a black background.

In superb archival vintage condition, no issues noted. This exact print and cropped design featured predominantly in the collection and the designers, during a press presentation, reported that they had been inspired by ancient southern Mediterranean cultures. This top certainly invokes an exotic feel and look whilst the floral print is succinctly Sicilian. Labelled an Italian 44, our house model noted that this is a slim fit in the arms and in modern sizing is better suited to sizes UK 8-10 and US 4-6. Our model's sizes are: Bust: 31" (80cm), Waist: 25" (64cm), Hips: 34" (87cm) and Height: 5' 4" (164cm) and she's a size UK 6, US 2. This top fit her well with some room to spare.
