This playful, bright mid-length shift dress is by collectable British designer Susan Small. Dating back to the eponymous brand’s heyday in the late-1960s/early 1970s, it is tailored from pure silk patterned with a cheerful print of bright flowers in sage, pink, lilac, yellow and orange. The gracefully fluid cut can be cinched with the coordinating belt with circular buckle. A shirtwaister style, the dress fastens down the front with a hidden zip and popper closure. Fabric-covered buttons adorn the front of the dress and an attached, matching scarf ties at the neck.

The original label reads “Susan Small - Made in England”. This dress has no composition or size label, due to its age but is made from silk and is fully lined in white silk. It is in excellent vintage condition with no flaws of any note. Suggested best fit for a UK 10-12 or US 6-8. Our model is a UK 8-10 and 5ft 11in (180cm) and this dress fit her well.
