Fantastic bar brooch / pin circa early 1900s featuring a very detailed, adorable fly or bee. His body is made of citrine and amethyst paste stones (glass).

The clasp on the back resembles that of a safety pin (I have seen them referred to as this in catalogs from the 1900s).

It comes in the original box, lined with silk and burgundy velvet.

Unmarked but tests as sterling silver.

Lovely condition with one small dent in the bar part of the pin, not noticeable. The citrine wiggles slightly in the setting but it is secure.

Box is in very good condition with minor wear.
