The Nike Presto, designed by Tobie Hatfield, first debuted in 2000 as a t-shirt for your feet, marketed with lettered sizing to emphasize its flexible, sock-like fit. In 2018, following his tenure as creative lead at ACG, Errolson Hugh reimagined the runner through the lens of 'industrial utility'. He transformed the low-top silhouette into a mid, adding a dual-zipper entry system and a snapped pull cord at the heel for Acronym-esque technical functionality. The design referenced heavy-duty gear and cyberpunk aesthetics, replacing simple mesh with a mix of spacer mesh and supportive overlays. Hugh also introduced a bold geometric pattern on the toe cap and cage, echoing Acronym's graphic language. Brand new with og all, some light marks from storage.
