French Louis XVI style enfilade buffet with hand applied ebonized finish having an exquisite Carrara marble top that is original to the piece, circa 1940s. Attributed to the highly sought after Paris atelier Maison Jansen, this stunning buffet found in Paris has four drawers (of which two are velvet lined silverware drawers) above four doors, all with the original brass bagues, hardware, and trim. Supported on fluted stiles resting on short toupie feet ending in brass sabots. A fine example of the high quality workmanship Maison Jansen is known for. This elegant buffet will work beautifully with traditional or modern interiors.
