The Zephyros Compact 1 tent blends low weight and trusted performance to provide a versatile lightweight tent for one person. It’s been designed with a compact pack size (just 30x18cm), enabling it to fit more easily into panniers and bags and ideal for a host of activities, not just backpacking. 

The Zephyros Compact 1 is suitable for solo backpacking trips that are short to medium duration, for longer trips or where you have a lot of gear you might want to consider a larger tent.  It’s also good for cycling trips, thanks to its compact pack size, and adventure racing.  

The tent is quick and easy to pitch – the inner and flysheet pitch together and inner and flysheet pegging points are combined to speed things up. When it comes to moving on it’s straightforward to pack away in the oversized tarp style bag – simply roll the tent into the side opening bag and tighten the drawcord. This type of tent design does need to be pegged out as it’s not free-standing.

The Zephyros has been developed for 3 season use and is suitable for campsite stays as well as wild camping. Its tried and tested low profile design, based on the Terra Nova Laser Compact, helps shed wind in poor conditions.

The tent has Superflex alloy main and end poles. The main pole folds down to 30cm long, plus alloy ‘V’ angle pegs. The Zephyros Compact 1 is a fully waterproof tent, with sealed seams. The flysheet and groundsheet are made using high performance polyester.

The inner tent has a mesh panel in the top half of the door plus a mesh panel at each end of the inner tent to help with air flow and manage condensation.

When you’re coming back to your tent in the dark or need to make sure you’re tent is visible in low light, the yellow guy lines are reflective as it’s the trim around the pole sleeves.
