Autumn Bushwalk #2Nature of the Blue Mountains is the inspiration for my work. Musicality is evoked by line, colour, and overlaying rhythmic forms. There is a sense of joyful wonder in Kates playful nature series of the Blue Mountains bush. These semi abstract pieces are from direct observation and a felt sense of the landscape that Kate spends a lot of her time exploring. Acrylic on board 45cm x 45cm.
