Tencel is a shiny, soft and smooth yarn that feels nice on the skin, like silk if not better!

Is perfect for all sorts of garments and accesories, especially for those that reqire drape and stitch definition.

It is an incredibly eco-friendly, manmade fibre, created in close loop production from the pulp of trees, mostly Eucalyptus. The close loop production, means that both the end product and the materials used are recycled and biodegradable.

Tencel yarn creates breathable and drapey knits, with great stitch definition. Perfect for shawls, bandanas and garments or blankets. The fabric will seem stiff at first, but the moment you block it it will tranform to a soft and drapy fabric. 

Like the Bamboo/Linen, it has the tendency to grow, mostly horizontally, I usually go for a size smaller in garments but if you need accurancy a good blocked swatch is required. 

It takes botanical dyes to a different level, the colors are more saturated and deeper.

Care: hand wash in lukewarm water with ph neutral detergent, dry flat in the shadow!
