Tsarine is made by Chanoine Frères, which was founded in 1730; only the house of Ruinart is older. The Tsarine cuvée was originally created in honour of the Russian tsars, since Russia was a major export market for champagne in the nineteenth century. Relaunched in 2000, the Tsarine range comes in a very distinctive and unique bottle, with ridged swirls instead of a smooth surface. Wine of Champagne, France, Suitable for vegetarians and vegans. Storage: Sparkling wines and Champagne should always be stored in a cool and dry place away from light and heat sources. The ideal temperature for storage is 13-15 degrees C. Point bottle away from others and yourself when removing wire, hood and cork. Hold the cork firmly and twist out slowly by hand. Never in any circumstances use a corkscrew to open.
