previous vintage 95 Points Jeb Dunnuck: "The Senses 2021 Pinot Noir Kanzler Vineyard exudes aromas of scorched earth, blackberry, and black licorice. Full-bodied, with a grounding sensibility, ripe tannins, and notes of crushed stones, baked cherry, and tea leaf through the palate, it has a slightly more meaty texture but remains light on its feet. Drink 2024-2032."

Senses Wines is a very promising project launched by three young guys from Occidental on the Sonoma Coast. Chris Strieter: MA in Finance and ex-Williams-Selyem Cellar Rat. Max Thieriot: Multi-generation grape grower and on-screen star of Bates Motel and Seal Team! Myles Lawrence-Briggs: Sonoma native returning home to learn the winemaking craft after a brief foray into English Literature. This trio are connected and committed to the wine business and knocking out some seriously impressive wines. They have now secured the inimitable talents of cult winemaker Thomas Rivers-Brown to craft their wines!
