Shoji Works was founded in 1918 and is the only ‘start to finish’ manufacturer of brushes in Japan. Their aim is to create products that fit within the lives of as many customers as possible – brushes to care for clothing, brushes to neaten hair, brushes to wash the body. Made with walnut and other finest quality woods and materials, worked and finished by hand.

Hairbrush: Walnut wood handle with natural boar and black pig hair bristles. Since natural boar and pig hair contain oil, static electricity (the great enemy for beautiful hair) is avoided. Bristles have moderate elasticity and hardness, so the hair isn’t excessively burdened but the scalp is stimulated, blood circulation is improved and a massaging effect is obtained. Face Brush: Face brush made with the softest goat hair. After cleansing, dry brush in a circular motion to give a smooth look and feel to the skin; also will promote the skin's natural life cycle. Kilned ash wood brush with pleasant smoky odor. Handmade with ash wood. 

Body Brush: Dark-colored short ash handle with white and brown horsehair brush. Scrubbing level is 'soft' - this is ideal for use as a 'dry brush'. Handmade with ash wood. 

Long Body Brush: Dark-colored ash handle with detachable white and brown horsehair brush. Scrubbing level is 'soft' - this is ideal for use as a 'dry brush'.
