Yamato carried 46-caliber main gun, the biggest at the time, and her 69,000 ton displacement was far greater than the British or American battleships of the 35,000 ton class. It took over 4 years and an enormous amount of money to build, with the launch in December of 1941. Celebrating 60 years since the birth of plastic models domestically, Hasegawa brings us this "Super Detail" kit of the famous Yamato!
