The Legacy Queen Front Unclipped KOOL HEELS is based on the Traditional Queen Plate, with the added strength, support, and improved features of the Legacy Series.

The hardened steel wear blank sits level with the aluminum, providing reliable durability while maintaining a smooth and balanced racing profile.

Part of our Legacy Series, this shoe is thicker, wider, and stronger than traditional racing plates. The improved tapered sole relief helps reduce sole pressure and minimize bruising, while additional nail holes provide greater flexibility in nailing. An improved overall shape and deeper fullering help keep nail heads tight and secure.

The unclipped design provides a clean profile and greater flexibility in fitting for farriers who prefer a plate without clips.

This version includes KOOL HEELS, designed to cushion the heel structures, improve movement and performance, aid in shock absorption, help cool the heels and collateral cartilage, and provide relief to inflamed or sensitive tissues.

Updated with 2025 retooling, this plate now features a cleaner, brighter surface finish and a more consistent, standardized nail hole pattern for improved nailing accuracy and security.
