The Osaka Shion Wind Orchestra, which was privatized in April 2014 and made a fresh start, changed its name to the "Osaka Shion Wind Orchestra" on March 16, 2015, and declared its rebirth for a further leap forward based on its 90-year tradition cultivated as one of the best wind bands in Japan. The new name is the "Osaka Zion Wind Orchestra". This live recording was made at the 110th regular concert of the Osaka City Band held at Festival Hall in Osaka on February 4, 2015. The concert was conducted by Artistic Advisor Kazuyoshi Akiyama, and featured music from festivals in Japan and around the world under the theme of "Festival" as the culmination of the first year as a general incorporated association.
