'There is an angel factory in the Karoo'

These magical angels are skillfully crafted by hand in two remote villages in the beautiful Baviaans region of South Africa's Karoo.

The Aarde range pays tribute to mother nature with the introduction of feathers, heads, wire and beads coloured pay tribute to, and remind us, of the beauty that surrounds us. This entire range is available in four colours and two sizes; medium and small. The Medium angels have felted wool heads and intricately knit wings, while the small angels have wire heads and simple yet elegant wings.

Aarde means 'Earth' in Africaans, and while she would look beautiful on a Christmas tree, she could purchased or gifted for so many other occasions.

Each angel comes with a tag stating her name, the meaning and where she comes from.
