Pump guru advice: Do not adjust this knob regularly. Set the unloader using a ball valve, whip hose and gauge to 200 psi above the operating pressure of the pump and leave it alone. Constant adjustment will cause premature failure and scoring of the shaft or possible damage to the head or manifold of the pump.
